Terms & Conditions

Please read fully and acknowledge before you agree and pay your booking fee. 


Payments

  • Once both parties have agreed the date availablility and the price of the party has been discussed a £150 booking fee will be taken to secure your booking date.  (Please pay with in 48 hours.

  • The booking fee secures your wedding date with me and will be deducted from your final bill (balance is due one month prior to the wedding date.)

  • Without the booking fee the date discussed will still be available for other party’s interested.

  • The booking fee is non-refundable.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash (at a trial)

  • Minimum spend is £310 for weekend weddings in peak wedding season, unless discussed otherwise. (this is equivalent to bride plus 2 others)

Travel

  • Travel expenses will be charged calculated at £1 per mile

  • I can start my journey as early as 6:00am. Should I need to leave earlier, a surcharge of £30 will apply or accommodation will need to be provided for the night before. (If over 2 hours of travelling one way)

  • Destination weddings, the travel and accomodation cost will need to be covered, an additional assistant may be required depending on the size of the party.


Changing your booking

  • Changing the original booking by adding on another service will need prior notice and can only be accepted  if time will allow this. 

  • If you wish to reduce or cancel your booking services within 6 weeks of the wedding date, the original costs will still be payable.

  • If you wish to cancel your booking 6 or more weeks prior to the wedding date, the booking fee/deposit and trial fee are non-refundable, but no further costs would be required/owed.

  • If your wedding is postponed within 12 months, no extra fees are required. (Booking fee can be carried over once)

  • If your wedding is postponed more than 12 months an inflation charge will be added.

  • It remains your responsibility to have the correct wedding insurance to cover you for unforeseen circumstances that may cancel your wedding day. Please check your wedding insurance for any Terms and Conditions.

  • If the wedding is postponed or rescheduled, the deposit/balance paid can be carried over to a new date (dependant on availability). All payments towards the new date are non refundable should the new date be cancelled or postponed again. 


If I need to cancel

  • If I must cancel your booking In the extremely unlikely event that I cannot attend on the day of your wedding due to unforeseen and unfortunate events or circumstances, all payments will be immediately refunded (not including deposit which covers admin costs) I will work with you on your behalf to find an alternative reputable stylist/artist or salon to cater for your requirements. However, any such booking will remain solely the responsibility of yourself.

    Trials 

  • If you cancel a trial within 24 hours of the appointment, full payment will be charged.

  • I am happy to try 2 similar styles at a trial. (2 hours)

  • If another style is required a second date can be found, keep in mind this is charged as a second trial and a second fee will be added.

  • Please note that young children and babys are not able to attend the trial for their own well being and safety, hot tools and chemicals sprays are used.

  • Please have washed hair from the night before, not damp or washed on the morning.

Extras

  • Clip in extensions can be fitted on the day free of charge.

  • You can provide your own hair extensions (these must be human hair)

  • Or I can help you colour match to a perfect colour match and order on your behalf, this needs to be arrange in good time before the wedding date.  

 Covid 19 

  • By booking with Amy Roman hair, the client has considered the risk of transmission of Corona virus and understands that Amy Roman cannot accept responsibility for transmission of Covid-19 should any client become infected.

  • The client is responsible for notifying Amy of any health concerns of the bridal party she will be working on who has recently returned (in the last 14 days) from affected or high risk areas.

  • Amy reserves the right to not work with members of the bridal party who show signs of illness/have travelled to affected areas or who have had contact with an ill person/persons who have travelled to affected areas (in last 14 days).

  • Please check the Gov.Uk website for most recent areas added to the list

Additional Artist

If your booking requires an additional hairstylist to accommodate your bridal party, a minimum extra artist fee of £50 will apply. Price may vary.

  • The minimum booking requirement for an additional artist is three people.

  • This fee covers the cost of bringing in a second stylist to ensure a smooth and timely service on the wedding day.

  • Requests for an additional artist must be made in advance to allow for scheduling and availability.

All bookings are subject to availability, and the additional artist fee will be included in your final invoice. If you have any questions or need to adjust your booking, please get in touch as soon as possible.
