HEY, IT’S SO NICE TO MEET YOU!I’m Amy and I’m an absolute perfectionist when it comes to bridal hair (all things hair actually!)
I started my hairdressing career in Bristol in 2001 (23 years ago!) and have been in the industry ever since. In 2010 I worked away on a cruise ship combining my love for travel and passion for hair. It truly was a fabulous time in my life meeting people from all around the world.
I’ve literally never looked back since I went self employed in 2015 - I meet so many amazing women and each of you have such unique stories to share and life experiences, I just adore hearing them all.
On your wedding day there will never be any awkward silences and I'll always aim to help you feel as relaxed as possible. My friends describe me as a ‘salt of the earth person’ and after googling this, I agreed! I'm very open, honest and approachable and I wear my heart on my sleeve, so whatever I can do to help you on your wedding morning, I will go out of my way to do so.

why I Became a Bridal HairstylistAfter years as a hairstylist, I started to feel a bit bored with the same old routine. Wedding hair became my new excitement around 2014. I definitely knew I loved doing wedding hair—it gives me the biggest buzz (high energy)!
So I jumped in feet first in 2017 with my first official bridal hair job. It was my friend's mum, so it wasn't too overwhelming. Friendly faces believed in me; I just had to believe in my abilities.
In 2021, my webpage was up and running, and this was a real proud moment. It's official—I'm a bridal hair stylist, alongside still working in the salon. I was moving in the right direction. It felt so good, and now my mission is to work together to discover the most relaxed, confident current version of you and create your dream bridal hair.
It's important to me that we explore all possibilities with your hair. You might need some natural enhancing with hair extensions, or maybe a colour or cut leading up to the wedding—I've got you covered. (check out my sun drenched package )
Now, with over three years of sold-out summers, I'm still learning and building my business.As I reflect on my journey, I've learned that I love connecting with brides, hearing their engagement stories and wedding plans. It amazes me—I just love hearing all about the proposals, venue choices, and the whole story.

My bristol rootsHear a tiny little bit more about me, so born bread in Bristol, Southvill, Bishposworth now I now live in the north of the city.
My cute primary school connected me with inner city kids from all walks of life, I still remember the people I use to gravitate to. My mum told me I use to be thrilled to always be pushing my fellow class m8 in her wheel chair taking charge of looking after her, making sure she was always involved as much as she could be.
lots of fun in the play ground where i would always be practising my hand stands, (properly upside down for most of play time, day dreaming only an upside-down day dream )
There was competitions amongst a few of us girls to see how many hair bands we could get in to our hair, any way good old days with no worries basically just hanging out upside down starring into the clouds making shape and wondering whats up there.
So why I love Bristol so much! It will always hold a warm place in my heart, being my home town. It’s fun, filled with colour, mostly graffiti all over the city, love that. We have an abundance of music events and small food business.
Forever grateful I have found myself in my home town finding my way in the creative industry.
